Someone moving to Houston should be prepared to endure the wild weather found here. It feels like summer all year in Houston. On Christmas, the temperature reached eighty degrees which will come as a shock to those that expect a chilled day. Snow is a rarity and hurricanes are always possible every summer. Houston is not for the faint of heart from the weather alone.

Everything in Houston is not big, except our faith in God, BBQ and the Astrodome. We are a beautiful city with all types of people, from all walks of life. We are a diverse big city with smaller communities tucked inside. There is no shortage of all types of wonderful food to fill you up. When disaster strikes Texans pull together every time.
