If you’re moving or visiting Enugu State, Nigeria, you need to know this; Enugu is the capital of the old Eastern region of Nigeria, popularly known as coal city state. That’s where coal was mined by the British during the colonial era. It’s home to the wealthiest people and tribe in Nigeria. It’s the most developed city with many interesting places like Nike latest, water fall and hills and valley. It’s really an interesting city to be with the best weather.

The hospitality of Enugu people, especially Nsukka is top-notch. They are not violent and have very nice delicacies.

If a person wishes to move to my city then he/she must be aware of the following: He/she must be aware of the local language of my area taking in mind that communication will be necessary, all he/she should consider the housing environment because it is important, not to forget know about the food and try to like them to be able to adjust.

The city is popularly known as Coal city (042). There is a stadium in my city known as Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. There is a popular market known as Ogbete main market. In the heart of the city there are mostly banks, Hotels, eatery and some government offices. There are some tertiary schools like IMT, ESSET, UNEC AND FCDTT.

The weather is mostly hot and electricity is luxury but the people are fun to meet, they are accepting. We have rich cultures both in food, dance, attire and many indigenous languages. We live a communal life and it can be easily said that everyone knows one another in my town literally. My people are overall lovable.

A very peaceful and hospitable region open to people of various tribes and culture. It has some tourist attractions like the zoo, waterfalls, amusement parks and the rest of them.

Enugu, just as the name implies-“top of hill” has many beautiful and serene hilly geography that is so captivating and inviting. It is in the southeastern part of Nigeria. It is inhabited by the Igbo tribe called Enugu-ngwo from which it obtained its name. Enugu is mostly popular for its tasty cuisines, robust industries and local palmwine.

Yes, Enugu is the oldest city in Eastern part of Nigeria. It’s major natural resources is Coal. It is on the hill and that gave rise to its name “Enugu”. The people of Enugu are well known with their varieties of local dishes, which comprises mainly of vegetables and Carbohydrates.

Anyone moving here should know is a very peaceful place. There are good road networks, enough organically grown food and a serene environment. There are also sources of clean water for drinking and for other usages. The system of the government is always free and fair.
