Chennai is a city in the south of India and is well known for its culture. brace yourself for the heat as it can be sultry throughout the year. Having said that, it is still a safe and wonderful city and it has different activities to do every season: surfing during summers, music festivals during winters are just some of them. The living expenses aren’t very high and you will manage to save as well. It’s fairly easy to commute within the city, so you don’t necessarily have to stay close to your office. However, most of the offices are on the outskirts and you can easily get an apartment in that side of the city. The city has the second largest beach, several malls, and parks to go to on the weekends; there is an active nightlife too. All in all, any age group will enjoy staying here as there is something to do for everyone.

My City, Chennai is one of the calmest and safest cities in India. Chennai is famous for its coastline and it has the second longest beach in the world. Chennai is also famous for its cuisine, filter coffee and dedicated music season. Rentals in Chennai may be higher than other similar metros.

It’s a metropolitan city. People should know to adapt to this busy lifestyle, traffic and pollution. It’s a place where the cost of living is on the higher side so people should calculate their expenses before moving here especially rents and kids’ education are so expensive. Getting a job is easier than in most cities so the expenses won’t be a big problem.

Chennai is a bustling, thriving seaside city in South India. Tamil is widely spoken though you can get by with English or Hindi too. summer from March through May are hot and humid with temperatures at times more than 40 degrees C, Educational institutions are of top standard. Housing and cost of living quite affordable. Famous for nurturing artists by holding annual events in its various Sabhas.

The public transport is cheap and not too bad. It is easy to find accommodation, however, the landlords usually ask for ten month’s rent as deposit. This is a coastal town and there is no dearth of beaches. The climate is hot in winters and very hot in summers. The culture of the town is good and outsiders are welcomed.

Chennai is a diverse, cultural city. People are very friendly and helpful. They are good in English and so tourists can feel safe. Food may be bit hot and oily for the foreigners but it is great that all cuisines are available. Traffic is heavy and undisciplined most of the time. Weather may be hot and sweaty for the general tourists. Plush living condos are available with a host of facilities.

Chennai is really hot and extremely congested. Its people are really nice and sweet. One of the major cities in India so if you are looking for a business in India one of the best cities. The cost of living is less but the rents are high and you won’t find an apartment without a lot of searching so be prepared. Overall the city provides great opportunities, good people, a great atmosphere for living given one or two disadvantages which every major city has.

Chennai is a crowded place with high budget homes. Expenditure could go a bit higher if not properly planned. But still a perfect place to start a new business. Even a small business start up idea could come out really successful.

Chennai is an extremely hot throughout the year except during monsoon season which typically wouldn’t last more than a month or so, an air conditioned apartment should be your preference.
