You should know it is an older suburb of Dallas and a city in it’s own right as well. Formerly an agricultural town, it has become a home to many national and international company headquarters. Pros: Convenient, excellent schools, great transportation. Cons: Older city, no nightlife, little recreation.

The City of Plano has a diverse population and a lot of amenities. There are playgrounds, nature preserves and libraries. The city also has a wonderful school district with three senior high schools. Sports and music are important at each school and students are encouraged to try new things. Many people move to Plano for the schools and amenities.

If you are someone moving to Plano, Texas, know it is much more expensive than other cities, like Arlington or Grand Prairie, which are all in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Although the cost of living is more, there are more things to do here and places to go.
