Plano is a great a place to live, buy a house, and raise a family. But, it’s not a tourist destination. Moving to Plano? You should know it is an older suburb of Dallas and a city in it’s own right as well. Formerly an agricultural town, it has become a home to many national and international company headquarters. There are many very nice neighborhoods and a huge assortment of restaurants and shopping areas. Immediately around Plano are Frisco, and McKinney, two of the fastest growing cities in the USA. There are lots of employment opportunities, either in Plano or in nearby cities. Dallas is less than 30 miles south, and DFW Airport is nearby, and easily accessible to residents. Pros: Convenient, excellent schools, great transportation. Cons: Older city, no nightlife, little recreation.

What people should consider when they move to Plano, Texas, is that it is a part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, along with a bustling downtown filled with small businesses such as boutique restaurants serving multicultural food. In addition, Plano ISD is well known for its competitive education system, making it a good choice for parents to send their children to school. Lastly, Plano, Texas, is a family-friendly suburb that is perfect for families to choose from.

Plano is very diverse. We have lots of restaurants, movie theaters, lakes, and parks. Plano is a very safe place to raise a family with the least crime rate. the city of Plano is famous for its football team called Dallas Cowboys and the baseball team called Rangers.

Plano is the picture-perfect suburban city. The Shops of Legacy is an incredible shopping district in the heart of town with a plethora of amazing dining options and boutiques. many new jobs are coming to the area. It is important to know neighboring cities, too, like Frisco, Richardson, and Allen.

Plano is a very safe city- there is little to no crime here. housing is quite affordable, and the public school systems are excellent. However, there is not much to do in terms of entertainment- Dallas is 30 minutes away by car, excluding any traffic. Despite this, there are plenty of restaurants offering unique cuisines.
