If you are someone moving to Plano, Texas, know it is much more expensive than other cities, like Arlington or Grand Prairie, which are all in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Although the cost of living is more, there are more things to do here and places to go.

Plano, the popular Dallas suburb, is one of the most sought after areas in terms of location and the cost of living is very affordable. Additionally, it has a family-friendly atmosphere. It is one of the greatest cities in North Texas!

Plano is a very safe city- there is little to no crime here. housing is quite affordable, and the public school systems are excellent. However, there is not much to do in terms of entertainment- Dallas is 30 minutes away by car, excluding any traffic. Despite this, there are plenty of restaurants offering unique cuisines.
