What are transportation options and challenges in Kathmandu, Bagmati Pradesh?

My city is filled with various cultures and languages. Here, people of different castes live together in a society. It also consists of heritage sites which were popular in ancient period. It is also known for it’s beautiful landscapes. There are no train in my city. There was one but due to some reason, it doesn’t work.

If you are planning to move to Kathmandu, you should be aware of the different cultures and traditions that prevail here. It’s just you won’t be surprised while seeing different fest happening on the streets and localities. Also, most of the time you will be traveling using public vehicles. So, make sure you have some idea about the route and station.

Kathmandu used to be a city of temples for tourists and a city of dreams for the rural Nepalese. Now, it is more of a concrete jungle undergoing rapid urbanization and population growth. For the people moving here, one should be prepared to seep into the bustle of the city, survive the dusty roads, traffic jam and scarce water.

Someone moving to Kathmandu should know it is a polluted and busy city. One should be very conscious about their health and time schedules. Anybody travelling around should cover their face and should leave their homes at least half an hour early to avoid being late because of traffic.

Considering the fact that, it is the capital of Nepal; the place can get a little crowded. one should be prepared for loud noises, pollution and traffic rush. Other than that, the city of Kathmandu provides various tourist destinations and is a home to one of the most friendly and helpful people.

Kathmandu is historically rich with various old and precious monuments. People here are friendly and generous. Here main problem is of water. Similarly, It is polluted and unwanted traffic on roads may create hastle and hindrances in regular duties. But, In spite of this we can enjoy the valley with greenery and himalaya views 360° around the eyes.

Lease an apartment or house without water scarcity problem. Cook at home, restaurants are for weekends. Temperature is quite cool. Pack up warm clothes if you are from a warm temperature area. Religious and friendly people around, but, that doesn’t mean you can trust everyone. Public transportation is difficult. Owning bicycle is a must. Carpool apps like tootle is famous for traveling around the valley.
