When deciding to move to Levittown, you should consider your value of the suburban lifestyle; it was the first American suburb established in the 1940s. One of the many benefits of living in Levittown is that it is a short train ride to NYC. It would also be considered a reasonable driving distance to the Hamptons and Long Island Wine Country, both at the east end of Long Island.

Levittown is famous for being the first suburb of the United States. It was used to house soldiers that were training for WWII. If you aren’t a history buff and just want a cheap place close to the city, Levittown is the spot to be. It’s the cheapest town on Long Island, while being just 10 minutes from Queens, New York.
