Surrey is a large city near Vancouver, British Columbia. This city is most popular in Canada for presenting a large variety of South Asian food, clothes and other items. It is also known for its big houses with large backyards. There are a lot of parks here and trails for trekking. It is a comparatively safe city.

Vancouver is a very clean and quiet city, where you can go from sea to mountain in one hour. Here you can enjoy outdoor, fishing, skiing, climbing and camping with incredible views and a relaxing atmosphere. Families are quite safe here, criminality rate is very low, food is very good and because of the large diversity of population you can find different cuisine in one km radius.

Surrey is the “city of parks”. It is a beautiful city located a peaceful distance from the bustling Vancouver but close enough for one to enjoy a night out in one of the posh Vancouver clubs. However, someone moving to Surrey should give a thought to the crime rate in this city.

When someone moves to the city of Surrey, they should look forward to the many outdoor activities available here and in surrounding areas. Surrey prides itself on having greenways connecting each neighbourhood and expansive parks in which you can spend your days. Within 50km of the city there are mountains to climb and ocean beaches to enjoy.

Surrey, BC, is a sprawling, suburban city. It is on the West Coast of Canada and is very welcoming to people of all backgrounds, religions and political views. The prices of rentals are substantially less pricey than in nearby Vancouver. This being said, however, purchasing your own real estate is becoming similar in price between the two. There are plenty of things to do here that nature and family friendly. If you’re interested in trying a wide variety of ethnically influenced cuisines, there is something for every palette and preference. I have found it fairly easy to get around by means of public transportation which is always expanding and fairly reliable. It is a quickly expanding city with many opportunities in employment and housing for a variety of needs.

Surrey is one of the affordable cities in Metro Vancouver. We have beautiful parks, easy access to our transit system that will take you to Downtown Vancouver; we also offer a variety of cuisines to enjoy. Although Surrey is a beautiful city with a lot of cultures, our crime rate in the province is quite large.

Surrey is called the City of Parks as we have many beautiful parks to enjoy. It consists of a diverse population and has a multicultural community. There are however still issues with racism and discrimination but in the current climate of social upheaval there is some hope that things will change.
