I am from Brooklyn, New York. As a part of New York City, it is a very ethnically diverse place. My Chinese neighbors cook and give me food on their holidays, the Indian man who owns the bodega on my corner always greets me with a smile when he makes my breakfast sandwiches, my Dominican bus driver waits for me at the bus stop when I’m running a minute late.
