English is not our home language. We have 11 official languages, and you would have to know at least one native language to succeed here. The food here is delicious, so don’t worry about takeaways. Bring your gun, as hunting is very common. And lastly, do remember to bring your smile. Most people here are happy, and we expect you to be joyful.

It is a great city which anyone would enjoy touring on.I can guarantee that anyone who visit my city would never feel bored because there’s a lot of entertainment. Except from that it’s also a capital city of the country and that means there’s lot to learn, to experience and to create great memories.

Pretoria is a city filled with fresh, vibrant Jacaranda trees. It is a multicultural city, that has citizens who speak multiple languages. It also has historical architecture, one includes the Union Building where there is a statue of the Great Nelson Mandela at the forefront. It is a great city.

If a person were to want to move to Pretoria, they can look forward to the amazing weather that Pretoria has. They would also have to be careful when walking around in town because it is dangerous. It is a very comfortable city.

Pretoria is known mostly for groove, clean big shopping centres and the blooming jacaranda trees. I would definitely recommend to someone who wants a clean vibey environment. There are different cultures and tribes but it is not really noticeable. There are also so many different residential areas according to vast pay scales.

They must be aware of thefts when walking around in the main town, other than that my city is a very great city for tourists, hikers, etc. There’s also a variety of great restaurants which offers traditional food and modern food. We have a variety of nature reserves and game reserves that they can visit.

Pretoria is a beautiful city and it is the capital city of South Africa. South Africa’s Union buildings are located in Pretoria and it is a good city to stay in because crime rates are not as high as in other South African major cities. Pretoria has beautiful Jacaranda trees and they almost turn the city into a beautiful purple colour when the leaves fall during Spring.

My city is not that complex but is a livable state. It is close to anywhere you want to go but and is much more convenient for shopping because shops are closer. Town is a 15 min drive and transport is always there. Electricity is never a problem so there is no worries for load shedding.

There is a lot of criminal activity in the city. Furthermore, the police are incompetent; they have no interest in doing their job and catching the criminals. If you would like to explore the city, I would recommend you visit Hennopspark, which has plenty of activities such as hiking trails.

If moving to Pretoria, know it has high crime rates because it is the capital of South Africa. One should also be aware of that it has terrible traffic after 5pm. However, Pretoria is a great place if you are a student because of the amazing night-life.

The most amazing thing about my city is the recreational sites we have, tourist attraction areas such as Union Building, The Zoo and Freedom Park. My favourite would be a drive down Church street and admiring the Jacaranda trees they are breathtaking. Church Square is also an awesome place especially on New Year’s Eve.

Masego, says: 2020

It’s easy to get around. The people are very friendly and helpful. We have the lovely jacaranda trees which bloom in spring and make walking down the street so peaceful. Giving off a lovely smell and amazing colour. This is a great place to raise kids. You would not regret your choice.

Pretoria is the capital of South Africa. It has been named after General Pretorius who first moved here. It is a beautiful town with a number of historical places. It is a nice place and has a very good climate.

The city where I live, has the most beautiful mountains. There are a lot of tourist attractions you can visit and an extraordinary dam to see. The people here are very friendly and we have a lot of great restaurants. I recommend visiting the monkey sanctuary as it’s a fun-filled adventure!

Pretoria is a retirement village. There are far too many restaurants and almost no social events for young people. I would not recommend visiting Pretoria except for family or business purposes. Cape Town, Durban or Johannesburg are more suited for tourists and anyone (tourist or not) under the age of 30.

Pretoria is a beautiful place for students. It is mainly populated by young adults coming from remote part of the country and the dwelling are mainly made for it. It is also an administrative town as it gathers most of the embassy and political structure of the country. Therefore, any person who would like to come to South Africa and in particular Pretoria should prepare to be bored if he or she has not set a perfect planning for his or he vaccination. Nevertheless, it also has its great place of pleasure like menlyn mall one of the biggest mall of the country where one can find practically everything from clothes store, restaurants to cinema; or the ice rank of the grove mall where one can freely ice skate, the national zoo where you can enjoy mother nature through the admiration of wildlife. Though, it might seem a little boring for someone used to busy town it stays a beautiful experience for anyone who may want to try.

Pretoria is a wonderful place that is quite war compared to may parts in Gauteng. It has a lot of diverse industries that are at a close distance and have good schools in reasonable distance. Pretoria is very quick at embracing development and it cares for the well being of all those that live in it.

Jessica, says: 2020

Our city, Pretoria, is an extremely diverse and integrated community. Members of our community are extremely involved during the day to day lives of one another. Although it is racially diverse, in dire times we all band together and stand tall. It is a wonderful place. The strengths overcome the downfalls.
