Pretoria is a beautiful, clean city that has a rich historical background. There are many relaxing parks, easy access to a wide variety of transportation, and a very exciting nightlife experience. The city is also home to the University of Pretoria; one of the most prestigious universities in the country.

Pretoria is known for its vibrant amapiano sounds which has had a massive influence on national music. The Kasi lifestyle gave birth to the language of “Sipitori”, which incorporates Sepedi and SeTswana dialects. The party scene is insane and attracts patrons from all over neighbouring Johannesburg and Polokwane.

My city is famous for having Jacaranda trees. Our traffic can get hectic during peak hours in the morning and at sunset, but it’s a quiet city overall. The accommodation is quite reasonable all over Pretoria and if you’re one for the nightlife then this is the place to be.

The houses in Pretoria are not only spacious inside but they have big yards; if you would like to host parties or would like your children to have an area within the house to play this is definitely the city for you. The Jacaranda trees bloom in Spring which is absolutely breathtaking.
