Pasadena is a wonderful city with a lot of great local places to go to. However, the living expenses can be pretty pricey. Make sure to find a place in advance because it’s not often you see a place for sale or rent. Pasadena is also a very populated city.

Pasadena is a beautiful city in Los Angeles CA. Popularly known as the city of roses because of the amount of roses residents love to use for celebrations. The city has amazing buildings, with a good government that ensures citizens maintain a high quality standard of living. It is home to some of Hollywood’s famous stars also.

Someone moving to my city should know it is filled with historical homes, events and landmarks. One such event (and landmark), is the Rose Bowl. The Rose Bowl is famous for its New Year’s Day football game, which highlights the top two college football teams in the nation. The majority of attendees also camp out over night on Colorado Boulevard, where the Rose Bowl Parade is held every January 1st. For most first- timers, attending the parade and football game is a lifelong experience.

Living in Pasadena is very expensive; rent for a studio apartment is often around $2000/month. Public transportation leaves something to be desired as well. While there are decent trains and buses, they do not connect nearly well enough to be considered adequate. As a result, traffic is horrendous and parking is often non-existent or expensive, or both.

Pasadena is overpopulated, loud, bright and windy. Firstly, is not the best place to visit people-wise but for the view, I highly recommend. The trees and laughter cover the town every season year-round. The stores, trails, pools, parks are all covered with smiles and big bright teeth.

Somebody should move to Pasadena because it is a great environment for children. There are outstanding public schools where there are incredible staff and resources. Many students have ended up going to Ivy League colleges and other prestigious schools. Additionally, little to no crime happens and your safety will be guaranteed.
