Oconomowoc is a wonderful city between Madison and Milwaukee Wisconsin. The name is very unusual because it’s based on the Native American word for five lakes. As the name implies, Oconomowoc is a place where five lakes come together. Interestingly, Oconomowoc is one of the oldest cities in Wisconsin, likely because it was originally settled by Native American inhabitants long before European settlers arrived. Now, Oconomowoc is a thriving community that is likely to grow by at least 25 percent over the next five years. I highly recommend this community to anyone who wants easy access to Milwaukee, Chicago, an Madison, but wants to live in a beautiful, nature-filled setting.

Oconomowoc is a beautiful small town in the Midwest, located just West of the City of Milwaukee. The town is the epitome of Americana and has a safe and idyllic community to raise a family. Over the past few years, Oconomowoc has seen a huge increase in residential buildings to support continued community growth.

Oconomowoc is at the very heart of Wisconsin’s Lake Country, conveniently halfway between Milwaukee and Madison. A blend of old town charm and modern convenience await you and your family. Top notch schools and incredible community amenities abound. Dance at the weekly lakefront concert, hit the lake for a wet and wild afternoon, or just grab bite at the food truck lot and shop the downtown boutiques. Oconomowoc has a bit of everything for everybody. We’ll save you seat!
