The History of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal is known as the city of lakes and is famous for beautiful and magnificent monuments. It is also one of the greenest cities in India. Being the capital of Madhya Pradesh and a beautiful city, it attracts lots of tourists. There are two main lakes, the Upper Lake and the Lower Lake. On the banks of the Upper Lake is Van Vihar National Park, home to tigers, lions and leopards.

In my city where I live is in India. This city is city of lake. Many people visit this for seeing beauty of lake and greenery. There is many ancient sculpture and stupa made by kings of that time. The lake which is famous here it is one of the lake which is created by man and city is famous on the name of King bhoj. He also called Rajabhoj.

Bhopal is well known for its hospitality and the caring nature of its people. There is no nightlife. People usually do business instead of jobs. The city is well known for ancient monuments and lakes that are present in main parts of the city.

Bhopal is called city of lakes. It is a green, clean and peaceful city. It is densely populated. People are down to earth, helpful and amiable here. There are many ancient monuments to visit in and around my city. It is full of lively people.

Bhopal is a city rich in heritage and history. Its an amalgam of the old and the new, the rich and the poor, the wide roads of New Bhopal and the narrow “gullies” of Old Bhopal and a mix of planned development on one side with urban sprawl on the other. There are various old mosques in Bhopal that will give you a glimpse into the Mughal architecture, some of it from before the British raj and the people of Bhopal, particularly the mix of the Muslim and the Hindu population will also give you a glimpse of what makes India mark with so many religions and cultures living together.

Bhopal is full of culture. It is the heart of the country. There are beautiful places here. our cultural history is wide. The people here are very friendly and welcoming. My city is one of the best ones when it comes to education.
