Bopal is the state capital of Madhya Pradesh and is known as the City of Lakes. It’s one of India’s greenest cities and the 16th largest city in India. Taj-ul-Masjid is one of Asia’s largest mosques. The city was originally known as Bhojpal, named after Bhoj and the dam that is said to have constructed to form the lakes surrounding Bhopal.

Bhopal is in the central Indian state of Madhya pradesh. It is one of the greenest cities in India. There are two main lakes upper lake and lower lake. On the banks of upper lake is van vihar national park, home to tigers, lions and different animals. Bhopal has Taj-ul-masajid, one of Asia’s largest mosque.
