Hapur is known for its Papad all over the country. It has some historic places. Maa Ganga flows near Garhmukteshwar which is a small town of our district.

Hapur is majorly known for its jaggery market. one can see a lot of sugarcane farms near here. there is an old temple of the Hindu deity Shiva that attracts a lot of tourist attention. Also, the bank of the mighty River Ganges passes across the city where people visit the twice a month, on days with religious importance.
