Ghaziabad district is situated in close proximity to the country capital New Delhi. Popularly known as NCR (National Capital Region), it is home to middle class households who can not afford high cost living standards of the national capital. A unpopular area till a decade ago, Ghaziabad has the first park made of recycled materials, along with one of the biggest refurbished and upcycled furniture market in Northern India.

Being on the outskirts of National Capital, Ghaziabad is a relatively comfortable city for people who cannot afford expensive accommodation in Delhi. Although, the crime rate and security remains a major concern, especially for females, people working late hours should avoid living in Ghaziabad. It is a trade-off between affordability and security that one needs to consider.

I would like to advise the person to enjoy the food, that city has to offer. The person should know his belongings while travelling in a public transport. He should not get tempted for a cheap stay, and should look for a decent place. It is imperative to bargain while shopping to save some big bucks.

Traveling is cheap but food and rent is quite negotiable and please don’t come in contact with any broker as he will cheat you. Metro services are a boon to the city and is continuously expanding.
