There is a major electricity problem. UPS is necessary for each home. Water supply is also a problem. Many times the municipality provides dirty water. Many times there is no water supply from municipality. So a personal submersible is also required. But in many societies, there are generators and submersible available for the residents of these societies. Though they charge for this maintenance on monthly basis. One more disadvantage is that there are too much mosquitoes because of open drainage on roads.
