Tres Palacios Bay that is known for the largest shrimping industry in Texas. It’s a beautiful setting for walks taking in the scenery along the bay. Locals in Palacios refer to it as “the bay.” You can go fishing along the sidewalk or any of the piers in the water; you can go on a boat ride and fish; you can go kayaking on a calm day on the water to reach the other end of the bay to the neighboring town across the water; you can have a picnic; you can go for a walk and watch the sun go down or watch the sunset with a loved one; you can go for a run along the one and a half mile side walk on the bay; and you can go on a bike ride along the sidewalk of the bay.
