The city is known for the mining of gold and diamonds. It has a vast number of tourist attraction sites that might attract visitors. There is also a game lodge for an outdoor experience. The game lodge is situated near the Orange river that flows through the town. The town is filled with a history that would pull anyone’s attention.

Virginia, Free State, is a small city in the central part of South Africa. The city got its name from the state in the United States. The town was developed due to mixed commercial activity of farming and mining. Mining is the main source of income for most of its population. Booming economic activity started in the 1950s due to the gold discovery. The city has a population of approximately 65,000. The people are warm and welcoming.
