We are a very tight knit community. A very small town with not more than 5000 residents. It is a place where everyone knows everyone, and all the kids went to school together. Some of them started school together and finished together. Some kids were bridesmaids and best men at weddings.

A very small town in the Free State, it is ideal for a person who prefers a calm environment. It lacks economic development, however, the industrial area is doing fairly well in light of producers of maize meal, bakery produce and dairy products. It is also found wanting in respect of road and water infrastructure.
