Are there taxis in Lexington? What about scooters? What are the public transportation options? Here's what two local experts had to say about transportation methods in Lexington, Massachusetts.

The public schools are recognized as top of the line by several accredited sources, due to outstanding test scores, college readiness, and graduation rate. Across town are full-size golf courses that people love to take advantage of, hidden ponds sprinkled here and there, hiking paths and scenic conservation trails that trek the town and an inter-town bike path that divides the town in half.

HELPFUL REPORT

Buckman Tavern, a colonial community center, once used by militiamen, is now a monument to visitors seeking out the “famous” door that holds a bullet shot from the Battle of Lexington. The town has an annual reenactment of the Battle of Lexington on the exact day of the year, at the exact time of day and at the precise locations that it originally happened. On any given day, there will be full-size luxury buses touring the town center.
