Lexington, Massachusetts, on the surface may seem quite dull; a town lost with the rest of the suburbia. However, the town has a rich history. At the center of Lexington is the famous Battle Green, where the first shot of the Revolutionary War rang out. Right beside it is the road to the library, which happens to be the same road the British redcoats used to search for gunpowder in neighboring towns. Scattered across town are houses and community centers preserved from the colonial era, each with unique stories.

The people in Lexington are the kindest, most loving people you’ll find in the northeast. If you ever need help locating somewhere, they will help. In restaurants, you can quickly meet people and strike up conversations. The Cary Memorial Library is known for teen congregations from the high school and middle schools. Upon the Battle Green are tons of locals hanging out together, throwing frisbees or footballs. It’s always peaceful. The sunsets are impeccable, and the starry night sky is to die for.
