From schools for early education to nearby colleges and universities, here's what five local experts had to say about education in Lexington, Massachusetts.

The public schools are recognized as top of the line by several accredited sources, due to outstanding test scores, college readiness, and graduation rate. Across town are full-size golf courses that people love to take advantage of, hidden ponds sprinkled here and there, hiking paths and scenic conservation trails that trek the town and an inter-town bike path that divides the town in half.

Lexington is a vibrant suburb a few miles from Boston, the capital of Massachusetts. The public school system is one of the best in the country. Each student there is high-achieving and ambitious. Every teacher is dedicated to their students and to the town. Lexington citizens are educated and friendly, which provides a great community for an individual or family to move.

The lively and aesthetic town center is home to shops and the local ice cream shop, Rancatore’s. Lexington’s sports culture is immaculate, whether it is support for the high school teams or the professional teams. Hundreds of people attend every high school football game, while at the same time, hundreds of students call in sick to participate in Patriot’s Super Bowl parades. The town has convenient access to the country’s most successful sports city, where every single prestigious sports team is just a short drive away.

Lexington, despite its tiny size, is home to over 30,000 people, consisting of great diversity. Every year, the town population continually increases with people coming from all over the world to settle. European and Asian immigrants make up a significant proportion of those who move to the town regularly. However, African Americans are underrepresented. To combat this issue, the state funds a busing program where underrepresented minorities from the Boston area are integrated into suburban school systems.

The people in Lexington are the kindest, most loving people you’ll find in the northeast. If you ever need help locating somewhere, they will help. In restaurants, you can quickly meet people and strike up conversations. The Cary Memorial Library is known for teen congregations from the high school and middle schools. Upon the Battle Green are tons of locals hanging out together, throwing frisbees or footballs. It’s always peaceful. The sunsets are impeccable, and the starry night sky is to die for.
