Anyone considering moving to Jamnagar, should know that it is not a metropolitan city, and hence not all the modern amenities are available. This in no way means it lacks facilities. Being a small city, the traffic and population problems are relatively less intense than bigger cities. Also, may it be noted that this city does not house any dedicated Pubs/Bars, as it falls under a Dry State (Gujarat).

Jamnagar receives quite a bout of rain each year. At the same time it has an equally strong summer. Winters here are also pretty chilly. The city is known for its rich culture and history. Jamnagar is famed all over India for having the best Bandhej (a type of dyed cloth).

They must have known that he/she is going to that city which is less populated compared to other megacity and it is also have largest oil refinery in the world. in jamnagar there is a museum, former fort that exhibits weapons, sculptures and pottery from the 9th to 18th centuries.

When you move to Jamnagar the first thing you will notice is that there is less rush compared to other cities in Gujarat. There are food options available for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The cost of living is less compared to other cities. The humidity is quite good. If you love the sea, you’ll love it.

Jamnagar has the largest production of brass items in the country. Jamnagar is ‘World’s Oil City’ because the world’s biggest oil refineries, belonging to Reliance Industries and Nayara Energy, are here. Jamnagar has base stations of all three wings of Defence: the Indian Air Force, Indian Army, and Indian Navy. The Bala Hanuman Temple is known for the continuous 24-hour chanting of the mantra ‘Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram’, since one August 1964.
