If you are moving to General Trias, get ready for long commutes. Most villages are connected by narrow streets packed with too many vehicles causing terrible traffic. A one-way travel from our address to Makati takes between 4 and 5 hours. The prices of staple are more expensive as compared to Manila. Do not expect much from the local government. We are planning of moving out from this city soon as we find it cumbersome.

Before moving to Gen. Trias City, one should consider two things: 1) location and 2) access to basic necessities. Gen. Trias City is in the heart of Cavite, but while residents of the city can access nearby towns easily, it is still being developed as an industrial area. You can still see vast rice fields on the side of the highway.

There’s not much to see here apart from the greenery and chirping of birds. People move in because it’s quiet here–the whole place just paints a beautiful and peaceful scenery that most long for in life and is different from the bustling and stressful life cities appear to have. They should take into consideration several things: 1) have a car ready as the transport fares are expensive, 2) there are no parks here nor any fun places to visit with friends and family except for malls, 3) this place lacks hospitals.
