Anyone moving to Thunder Bay should know it is beautiful with a lot of places around it to enjoy nature. It is far from other cities, besides the small towns or villages around it, but there are many nature paths to walk and hike close by and several parks filled with nature that many people visit.
When moving to such a diverse community, such as, Thunder Bay, one should be careful of the higher than normal murder rate. Thunder Bay has the highest murder rate per capita of any municipality in all of Canada. As well, be aware there are areas in town where these heinous crimes tend to occur.
