Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria. It is big and lively city with a lot of historical sights. There are a lot of bars, clubs and restaurants you can explore. The city lies just below Vitosha mountain, which is only a short ride distance from the city center. It is a great hiking destination for all outdoor seekers.

Sofia is a city with rich and long history, starting from Eastern Roman times through today. A lot of historical buildings, and parts of the old city fortress and walls, can be seen. The city lies in close proximity to Vitosha mountain, which offers great possibilities for hiking.

The people are friendly and will make feel at home. There are a lot of museums that will give you a sense of our history and culture.

Sofia is the capital of a little country in Eastern Europe named Bulgaria. It is a very beautiful city with great infrastructure and nice people. Sofia is near Vitosha and Lyulin mountains which is great. The city has a lot of parks, cosy cafes and nice restaurants. Sofia is full of life and is a great place for young people, who are searching for a good job and a great place.

Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria. It is a city rich in culture and history. Sofia is the only city in Europe that has places of worship of four different major religions located close to each other. The city lights are spectacular during the night and the days are sunny and perfect for hiking in the nearby mountains. The climate is warm and temperate. Although Bulgarian is the native language in the country, but more than 50 percent of the population of Sofia speaks English.

The city is very beautiful, indeed. It has multicultural environment and diverse opportunities for a great holiday for any tourist visiting. It has a beautiful mountain very close by, called “Vitosha mountain” and that is a great way to relax. visit both the cultural monuments, and the breathtaking nature of both Sofia and Bulgaria.

Sofia is an absolutely beautiful city. There are many museums and galleries in the city center. They are easy to reach from almost any part of the town since the public transport network is very well developed. There are a lot of parks and gardens and even though Sofia is the capital of the country everything is relatively cheap.

Most important piece of advice I’d give to newcomers is to choose their accommodation in close proximity to the underground or any big shopping mall. Also, consider practicing Bulgarian before or make sure you have access to a dictionary or have a friend that is familiar with the language and you can trust.
