Szeged is a traditional Hungarian city with a lot of character and charm, you can find thermal water springs which have medicinal benefits to one’s body. It is a city full of life, amazing food and wine, and friendly people everywhere. It’s quite a green city, the park in the middle of the city gives you the nature feel; during summer time there are a lot of festivals around the city.

Szeged has a nickname the city of sunlight and it’s one of the happiest cities in Hungary. near the river Tisza there is the Dóm, which is an ancient remnant from the middle ages. Many events are being held around the city. One of them is remarkably known as the wine festival. Although the best research university is also placed in the heart of Szeged.
