Shubenacadie is a small town in the countryside with three pizza places down the road from each other, a pharmacy, a Home Hardware store, a bank, an elementary school and the Tinsmith Museum. Shubenacadie is home to the Wildlife park, which is filled with plenty of native Nova Scotian woodland animals.
