The footprint of the city is somewhat small with the downtown being a mile-wide peninsula, so spending the day walking downtown is easy. If it’s Friday night in Portland and you decide you’d like to get takeout or go for a fancy sit-down dinner, the options are seemingly endless and somehow the quality is far from compromised.
