Pangasinan has a lot of festivals. One of these is the Pistay Dayat or Sea Festival which opens a week before May. There are food stalls, souvenir shops not only from Pangasinan but from other provinces also. There are programs, boodle fight, games and other activities. Lingayen, which is the province’s capital is especially attractive at night due to the many lights hanging from the tree.
