Lingayen is a bit quaint. The people are simple, but also enjoy parties and celebrations. The main tourist attraction in my city is the beach where people can enjoy both the views of the sunrise and the sunset. Anyone is able to swim, as there are normally lifeguards on the lookout.

Lingayen, my hometown, is the capital of the province of Pangasinan. It is in the center of the northernmost part of the pro Here we could find the Capitol Building, a tourist attraction which also serves as the office of the governor. Nearby the Capitol Building we could visit Lingayen Beach, which is one of the most popular beaches in Pangasinan. The beach can serve as a sort of “break” from the stress that one can experience everyday as you could explore the bay walk and just listen to the sound of the ocean waves. Lingayen may not be the biggest town out there but it will always welcome you warmly. ince.

Pangasinan has a lot of festivals. One of these is the Pistay Dayat or Sea Festival which opens a week before May. There are food stalls, souvenir shops not only from Pangasinan but from other provinces also. There are programs, boodle fight, games and other activities. Lingayen, which is the province’s capital is especially attractive at night due to the many lights hanging from the tree.
