As I live in Jammu city which is in Jammu and Kashmir state of India. As it is ‘The City of Temples’ so I think the best thing about this place is temple. The climate here is hot and humid in June, July, August and some days of September as well.

Jammu- A place of temples for visitors to attract and religious people to relax. It was founded by JamboLochan and the name – Jammu is after his finding. It is on the banks of River Tawi and is known as Jammu Tawi. It is connected by air and by train too.

Our city is full of diverse culture. We do have numerous food items and we are connected to Pakistan through borders. famous food of Jammu is rajma chawal. khud is famous for their sweets and dosa is famous for mini kashmir. City is full of holy places. Sunrise and sunset views are very beautiful here.

It has great scenic beauty and great weather to enjoy. It encloses Himalayan ranges and mughal road is worth a visit. It is city of Temples, you can’t ignore the meadows or pastures. It is a very beautiful place to visit especially for people in big cities to gain peace of mind and pleasure.

Lakes like Surinsar and the forts like Bagh-e-Bahu are worth checking out. One can visit to the big malls. One can also visit to manda zoo which consists of varying varieties of animals including snakes, tigers, lions etc. This place also attracts visitors for its natural scenery. This place is known as the city of temples as one can find a lot of temple here.

Jammu has the biggest industrial area in the state or Union Territory so someone moving here will be known the city by industrial estate. He/she will just search for industrial area and my city is known as city of temples so it’s good to know the city.

I am a resident of Jammu city, J&K. known as the city of Temples the region remains etched as ‘the paradise on earth’. it’s alluringly graceful with it’s varies natural endowment and rich cultural heritage. Every monument you visit offers glimpses of the past and evokes a culturally imbued emotion it transports back to golden era. Be it Mubarak Mandi Palace built by the Dogra kings in jammu where you can experience the traces of the royal life lived in all its glory or the Pari Mahal that provides rare glimpses into the Islamic architecture. While the Akhnoor Fort provides you an image of the 1700s military architecture.
