Valenzuela City comprises of numerous plastic manufacturing companies that are being utilized as raw materials in the production of packaging containers and bags. Furthermore, there are several newly built theme parks that people can go to for entertainment. Our mayor values not only the city’s being a secured and safe place, but most especially his people whom should be taken care of.

The city traces its long colorful history to the Old Town of Polo, then part of the province of Bulacan, which was established in 1623. It began as a tiny settlement of fishermen along the coast of Manila Bay. Polo was later renamed Valenzuela, in honor of its most famous son, Dr. Pio Valenzuela, one of the triumvirates of the Katipunan (revolutionary movement during the Spanish occupation). In 1975, it formed part of Metropolitan Manila after its creation. It became a city in 1998 when President Fidel V. Ramos signed RA 8526, an act passed by congress, as authored by the late Congressman Antonio M. Serapio, classifying Valenzuela as a highly urbanized city.

Valenzuela City has had a drastic change since Mayor Rex Gatchalian took over the city. It has improved and is one of the developing city in Metro Manila. I suggest you move in near Marulas area because hospitals, schools, restaurants are just in the area but be ready to face heavy traffic every morning, other than that, Valenzuela is a good city to stay.

Valenzuela is a “disciplined” city following the city’s tag line, “Valenuzelano, disiplinado”. The mayor governing our city is diligent and responsible enough to face challenges. Aside from the good governance, Valenzuela also caters young generation when it comes to education, leisure, and health services. we have, multiple parks and bars that you can spend your time with. Schools with high quality teaching and facilities. medical healthcare providers that are always ready to help those who are in need in an affordable price.

Citizens from our community, which is Valenzuela, are known to have self-discipline. We care for each other. People in this city are also hospitable. The trademark of Valenzuela city is the Valenzuela People’s Park. Our city became the second safest city in the Asia next to Singapore. Our mayor is Rex Gatchalian.

Our city is a very organized city compared to our neighboring cities. We owe it to the incumbent mayor, who has done a very great job in making sure regulations governing Valenzuela are up-to-date according to the needs of the community. They also make sure the laws are strictly implemented. Saying this, there are stern punishments for violators to ensure that they learn their lesson well and avoid repeating the same mistakes. One example I can cite is the implementation of the no-contact apprehension for all motorists traversing the city. I myself had a dose of this medicine after receiving a violation notice late last year. The violation notice came in complete with a link of the video showing how violated a traffic sign as I went home one day after work. The fine for the violation was high and I must say it made me become more careful and mindful of traffic signs within the area. This a great tool to urge discipline among the citizens of Valenzuela.

Valenzuela City is an industrial city. It has a lot of factories which causes heavy traffic at times. However, it is lively most of the time and there are a handful of supermarkets one can find accessible anywhere. The city mayor developed and built hospitals, schools and other government facilities that are easy to find which made the life of the citizens easier than before. Valenzuela City is still developing and someone moving here would be satisfied.

The city has a respectable mayor, who puts the citizen’s needs before anything else. Despite it being prone to flash floods, there are emergency lifeboats ready to be deployed at each area. The community is welcoming, and the city is branded to be one of the safest cities in the Philippines. This is due to that the mayor highly emphasizes the safety of each citizen.

Janelle, says: 2020

Valenzuela City is a developing place headed by a credible mayor. It was during the mayor’s term that our city bloomed into an industrialized and organic place. Though surrounded with buildings and businesses, the city still prioritizes its parks for the Valenzuelanos. The city will bring much joy and peace to someone moving there.
