Chattanooga is a very friendly mid-size city with many activities to choose from. Outdoor activities include numerous trails, water activities on the Tennessee River, and attending concerts and festivals. Additionally, there is a wide variety of excellent restaurants to choose from, an amazing aquarium, historical museums and cultural activities that appeal to all ages. Nestled in the Tennessee Valley, the beauty of Chattanooga is not easily forgotten and is a wonderful place to visit or call home.

There are plenty of shopping malls, bakeries, IMAX theatres, pet adoption centers, vet centers, hotels, museums, art galleries, and stores where customers can make their own pottery, drawings, paintings, and so much more. There is discovery museum, where you can learn all kinds of science experiments, facts, and it has a playground.

There are lakes and water activities. The aquarium has a huge rock wall that is on the side of the building, where people climb it at their leisure. At night, it lights up different colors. For kids, there are amusement parks, an incline railway, rock city gardens, hiking, Ruby Falls. There are music festivals downtown and they are seasonal too. There is Riverbend in the Summer, Bluegrass plays, and there is weekly entertainment by the Chattanooga Market.

Chattanooga is a beautiful place, having both a scenic and rural appeal. Downtown has many eateries and shops. The mountains surrounding the city create many fun and gorgeous hiking areas. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is also in downtown and is known for offering one of the most prestigious nursing programs in the country.

Chattanooga has scenic views, restaurants, and touristic sites. There are beautiful hiking trails, great lakes for kayaking. There are numerous parks and an aquarium. It is a spot for tourists to come and open to many different types of people. In Chattanooga there is tons to do for all different age groups and types. For outdoorsy people, there are parks, pools, biking trails, golfing, horseback riding, and camping. Riverwalk is fantastic for people who like walking. It is 10 miles long, consists of a bridge that goes over a gorgeous river.

Anyone moving to Chattanooga should know it is a city for lovers of the outdoors. Nestled in a valley, Chattanooga sits between Lookout Mountain and Signal Mountain, both of which have many hiking opportunities. The Tennessee River also flows through the middle of the city and is a popular destination for anyone with a boat, kayak, or canoe. Moving to Chattanooga is the beginning of a great adventure which is guaranteed to be filled to the brim with outdoor activities.
