Chattanooga is a beautiful place, having both a scenic and rural appeal. Downtown has many eateries and shops. The mountains surrounding the city create many fun and gorgeous hiking areas. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is also in downtown and is known for offering one of the most prestigious nursing programs in the country.

There are also a few boat parades with fireworks especially on the Fourth of July. There are multitudes of live events performed by citizens of Chattanooga that want to take part. These events are performed by the Chattanooga Theatre Center, local schools, and the Orchestras. There are several schools and colleges that are really good about graduation rates. For schools, there are Chattanooga State Mid College High School (rated 9/10), Chattanooga High Center for Creative Arts (rated 8/10), and Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences (rated 8/10). For colleges, there is UTC and Chattanooga State. The schools in Chattanooga are high quality and have almost excellent graduation rates.
