Overcrowded, traffic and parking is a joke. It’s even tough to do shopping here. On the plus side, the weather is amazing (when it’s not a storm) and it’s really safe. But that’s not enough – we have lived here for a year but we are going to move on.
The population is too much if you’re from the countryside. It could get too suffocating if you prefer a quieter environment. Also, the weather is always unpredictable. It’s bright and sunny in the morning and next thing you know, out goes a thunderstorm. Anyway, the city is full of life and never gets boring.
Baguio is summer capital of the Philippines. It also holds a big flower festival every summer which is called Panagbenga. The main attraction is the parade of floats. It is also known for suffering from a devastating earthquake in the 1990s in which many people lost their lives.
