From schools for early education to nearby colleges and universities, here's what two local experts had to say about education in Madison, Connecticut.

Civic responsibility is taught early on in Madison. It is taught that service work through volunteering builds character and helps the community as a whole. Most of the students do service work at one of the local retirement homes, food share or summer camps. The Deacon John Grave House is a historic site that was built in 1681 on the southeast corner of the town green. The Grave’s House provided a home for nine generations of Graves, and is now a landmark that holds Santa book reading events, Halloween Trick or Treat parties, dinners and silent auctions.
