Walvis Bay is a wondrous place to escape to. It’s sunsets over the Lagoon and bay area are a favourite romantic getaway, and the early morning kayaking and paddle surfing. Just fifteen (15) kilometers away you are on route to the world’s longest Palm tree drive, divided down the middle by the breathtaking views of the Nam Desert on your right and the Atlantic ocean to your left.

I live where the ocean and the desert meet each other. It’s one of the most amazing things that you have to see. The desert which I am talking about is the oldest in the world and the most beautiful one on earth. And we have the highest death toll on the roads.
