If you’re moving to Dimapur, you need to know that it can get very humid during the summer. The cost of living is not too high and people here are quite warm and friendly.

It can get extremely humid in the summer months. There is dust billowing everywhere by the roadside be when the rains finally come to placate the winnowing plumes, the mosquitoes arrive to lay claim to a populace that has become weather-beaten by an unrelenting and seemingly endless Indian summer. Winter couldn’t come any sooner and with it comes months of festivity, humidity, heat and mosquito long forgotten.

People considering to move to my city should know that it is a very hot place. Even when the sun is not shining the humid weather is a very serious issue. Apart from the weather, the people are nice and everyone has very casual lifestyle. It’s a little crowded, especially during the holidays but it’s also quite a nice place to shop for gifts as bargaining with shopkeepers is a common thing and we get most things for cheap prices.

for starters, it’s not a fully developed city yet so you might have to compromise on some ways of life if you’re moving from a developed city. But on the bright side, the people here are very nice in general and everyone is already to help a person in need.
