It can get extremely humid in the summer months. There is dust billowing everywhere by the roadside be when the rains finally come to placate the winnowing plumes, the mosquitoes arrive to lay claim to a populace that has become weather-beaten by an unrelenting and seemingly endless Indian summer. Winter couldn’t come any sooner and with it comes months of festivity, humidity, heat and mosquito long forgotten.

People considering to move to my city should know that it is a very hot place. Even when the sun is not shining the humid weather is a very serious issue. Apart from the weather, the people are nice and everyone has very casual lifestyle. It’s a little crowded, especially during the holidays but it’s also quite a nice place to shop for gifts as bargaining with shopkeepers is a common thing and we get most things for cheap prices.

When moving to my city, Dimapur one should consider the hot tropical weather and the difference in culture of the people. Even though all of us live together with peace and harmony we are really different. We have about 50 different languages spoken in our city itself with ‘Nagamese’ being the most widely spoken.

The city is quite hot yet very spacious too. Nagamese is used as a form of communication. There are many interesting places you can visit. The people are quite friendly and interesting. Always carry a sunscreen wherever you go. Go shopping in thrift shops. Food from the street vendors are the best.

Dimapur a commercial city with dense population and hot climate. Many people tend to move over to this place with the hope of better earning opportunities however it doesn’t turn out that way. It’s hard to survive if you have no monthly income as the living expenses is quite high. You will have to take a proper decision before deciding to move to Dimapur.
