The City is well connected by highways, railways and airways so it is easy to travel. Inner Line Permit is a must for the outsiders. one has to apply for the permit from the concerned authority before moving to the city. The city consisted of different tribes and community.

Out of all the cities in Nagaland, Dimapur is the most advanced and industrialized city. It consists of a mixture of tribes and people from all over the state. It is a beautiful state where there are lot of natural beauty and perseverance. If you would like to move to my city I’d recommend to take around the trip at least once after you move here.

If you love to witness diversity in unity, you have come to the right place at the right time. There’s tons of opportunities to witness a combination of more than 29 cultures in this area. If you wish to spend quality time with nature, you have landed at the right place.

Dimapur is a small city packed with a diverse set of people. It is a place where people are less judgemental about what you wear or where one comes from. It is the commercial hub of the state and hence, the accommodation of many races. The city remains a place where nobody judges your fashion statement. It’s a place where no one conforms to the color of one’s skin.

Someone moving to Dimapur should be willing to accept cultural shock. There are multiple number of tribes belonging from different ethnicity. No single tribe is similar to the other in terms of Dialect, Clan, Tradition, Food habit, Customary Laws, etc. English is a common language used here by most. However, local dialect is particularly a must to learn to adapt with the environment.
