Wilmington is a coastal city that has breathtaking views of the beach. The housing is affordable, and the schools are highly rated. We are home to Screen Gems, which is a large movie studio that brings in a lot of jobs to the area. One of the biggest drawbacks is the horrible water quality. Our water is not safe to drink because of Gen-X, which is a chemical that has been dumped into our water system for over 30 years.

When moving to Wilmington, it is essential for one to be aware of the film industry. Television shows such as “One Tree Hill” and “Dawson’s Creek” have used the pristine boardwalk as a backdrop. The town is in close proximity to many universities including the University of North Carolina Wilmington and Duke University.

Wilmington is a smaller city on the North Carolina coastline. It has come very far in the past few years. Though many of the original buildings and structures from 20 to 30 years ago still stand, it has developed into the perfect community for families and young adults going to the local colleges. Access to the beach isn’t far, and any resource you need is within a few miles. Although has been modernized in some ways, it is still a perfectly balanced and humble place for anyone.
