Originally constructed as a railroad depot in the mid 1870’s, Woodstock has become a warm and welcoming place for both residents and non-residents. Downtown Woodstock has been completely renovated over the last few years. It now offers a wide range of restaurants, offering cuisine such as fresh seafood, steaks, pizza, farm-to-table, and cupcakes for the dessert lovers. Campgrounds, hiking trails and mountain-biking trails also surround the lake. Come and explore Woodstock and Lake Allatoona and see how fun lake life can be!

Woodstock has become a noteworthy vacation destination in recent years. Many new coffee shops, bars, and restaurants have helped Woodstock grow into a bustling community. A new rock climbing gym opened this past summer, an indoor soccer field announced plans to open this winter, and there is even a new local brewery just down Main Street! Woodstock has become a lovely place or visit.

For someone moving to Woodstock, Georgia, they should know its small town feel. While all major brands are available at shopping malls nearby, the town is best known for its boutique shopping and local festivals. It’s the perfect place for families and individuals who want that small town feel while still being close to major cities.
