Titusville is mainly known for rocket launches and the Kennedy Space Center. We also have the Canaveral National Seashore. It includes various boat ramps that take you to the Indian River, and wildlife drive trails where you can spot gators, birds, ducks, even the occasional bobcat. There’s also a nice beach called Playalinda Beach.

Our town is located across the river from the launchpads used by SpaceX and NASA. About once a month, you can see the rockets from your front yard. Because these rockets are also a tourist attraction, you need to plan ahead and get your shopping done before launch day, otherwise it’s hard to find parking. People will park literally anywhere, even in store parking lots or on residential streets, just to see a launch.
