Apart from the usual attractions of being the central city of India famous for oranges and the Saoji cuisine, Nagpur is lesser known for its weather. We have three seasons here: summer, wet summer, cold summer. Before moving to Nagpur, you should be mentally prepared to face and live in extreme dry heat. Also, food here is spicy, so if give Nagpur a pass if you can’t handle spicy food.

Nagpur is the seat of the annual winter session of the Maharashtra state assembly. It is a major commercial and political centre of the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. the city derives unique importance from being an important location for the Dalit Buddhist movement and the headquarters for the Hindu nationalist organisation RSS. Nagpur is also known for the Deekshabhoomi, which is graded an A-class tourism and pilgrimage site, the largest hollow stupa among all the Buddhist stupas in the world.

Today, I am going to introduce to my native city, which is the third-largest city and known as the Winter capital of the Maharashtra State. As it is a famous and major trade center of oranges, it is Orange City. The official language we use here is Marathi. There are also many tourist places.
