Madurai is usually very hot during summer and during the rainy season we do get rain and it is pretty cold in the night. The Meenakshi Amman Temple is a very popular tourist attraction. There is a mall and various shopping complexes all around and Madurai is a comfortable city.

The thing to consider when moving here would be the climate, because my city is hot. And the second would be the cost of living standards. Madurai is a fully developed city, so the rental places charge pretty high here. But on the bright side, the food is pretty cheap here. Taking these two into account, the person should think twice before moving in here.

Anybody moving to Madurai should know at least a little Tamil and English to survive because though the city has developed enough in past years, still the natives prefer and give a lot of importance to their mother tongue. He/she should also be able to adjust to the hot climate in the city throughout the year.

If someone moving here does not speak our native language or fluent in English, then he/she cannot survive here. In terms of temperature, my city is fairly hot. The person moving in should also be comfortable with the heat here. I won’t lie that our city is the cleanest one. But, you will get accustomed to the environment after moving here.
