Wajir town is in the North Eastern part of Kenya, it’s a pretty dry area. The local community around keeps livestock such as goats and sheep for their livelihood. On your way to this place you will come across camels-the most sought after livestock around. The local people around are mostly Muslim. Walking around you won’t miss to notice the many well built mosques. There is also the archaic way of doing things here whereby a girl is married off at her prime years to a old mate or a suiter of her parents choice.
